Well done on your cooking, I hope the honey cakes went down a treat. We will be releasing a cook book at the end of term, in which you can buy all of the recipes you will be making.

We will be writing our own disgusting recipe later in the week. Remember the features of a recipe:
Ingredients and how much,
Cooking times,
Utensils,
A method
Start instructions with a verb,
Pictures are optional.

Try and write your own recipe with any weird or unheard of ingredients you might find in your kitchen....

Sorry i havent posted for a while, there have been some problems with the website. Here's a roundup of the latest news and things you need to know.

Congratulations Ty Gwladys on winning the Eisteddfod, you did yourself proud.

We will be cooking many Roman recipes this half term, starting with honey cakes on Friday. Try to look at as many recipes as you can and even try helping out with some cooking at home.

I will hopefully be joining you at cross training on Thursday. If it is raining, ask your parents to phone the school at lunchtime to confirm whether it is still going ahead.

Homework

Maths homework will now be given out on a Friday and is in on Monday.

Spellings and English are given out on the Monday, due in on Friday.

Library

We will be visiting the library tomorrow (Tuesday). If you have a Caerphilly smart card, please bring it with you.

Reading Books

Remember to bring your Reading books in every day so when I get an
opportunity to hear you read you have it with you.

Also, bring library books back in as soon as you finish them or want
to change them.
